PEOPLE HELPING PEOPLE

Local Citizens Gave Food to Receive Better Health.

MEDINA, OH - Even in today’s economic hard times, the patients of Maximum Potential Chiropractic have a concern to help those in need!  The clinic encouraged its patients to come in November 12, 2009 to donate food items in exchange for healthcare services.  Any new patient that came in during the week of November 9th -13th, 2009 that donated food received $220 worth of healthcare FREE.  The children that participate in the clinic’s Kid’s Club had a competition to build a Macaroni Mountain.  Dr. Matt Hamilton provides this special service every year and the amount of giving this year exceeded food and monetary donations in the past with a total of 1,500 lbs. of food and $210 that was collected to help area families.  All donations were made to the Medina County Community Center food bank.  Dr. Hamilton says, “It’s great to see the concern people have for one another, and I enjoy providing my services to help the community.  It’s all about supporting one another.  Thank you MPC patients, you’re awesome!”   Maximum Potential Chiropractic is located at 215 W. Liberty St. Medina, OH – 330-723-1441 – www.mpchiro.com

Health Fair Benefit

by Leslie DeDauw

The Medina County Schools' ESC Treasurer's Office hosted their first Health and Benefits Fair on October 30 at the Medina County University Center.

Over 40 employees and family members attended the event.  They had the opportunity to meet and speak with several employee benefit representatives and area financial institutions.  Maximum Potential Chiropractic did spinal screenings and the Red Cross of Medina County gave blood pressure readings.  Lodi Hospital administered over 20 seasonal flu vaccinations and offered bone density scans.  Health aides from the ESC performed vision and hearing tests and Medical Mutual of Ohio had a masseuse giving chair massages.                                                                                 (click on picture to go to article)

COMFORT IS

BEING

PROVIDED FOR

KIDS

MEDINA –  On Saturday, July 11th 2009,  Dr. Matt & Rae Hamilton and their staff from Maximum Potential Chiropractic spent the day on Medina Square raising awareness and funding for the non-profit organization, Quilts for Kids.  This organization transforms material into quilts and donates them to children with life threatening illnesses.  Other businesses in the community joined in with Maximum Potential Chiropractic to provide free fun for the whole family.  The community was invited to attend Community Appreciation Day to enjoy free food, inflatables, music and games.   Dr. Matt chose to partner with Quilts for Kids because he believes in their mission, to provide comforting quilts to children in hospitals battling life threatening illnesses.  That is why the kid patients from Maximum Potential Chiropractic got involved in this event by coloring patch squares that were transformed into beautiful quilts that will be distributed to area hospitals.  It is Dr. Matt’s hope that these quilts will bring smiles to the faces of children and show that we care.
